It is a New Year, and I spend my time looking back on the gifts of the last year.
It is a New Year, and I share my heart with you as we enter this new cycle together.
January is always a perfect time for looking inward, reflecting, assessing. And after such a potent year, it's especially important to reflect! I appreciate this time of evaluating my journey over the last year, and have allowed it to be my highest priority since the calendar turned to 2018. What felt like a much needed day to devote to the reflections of the last year has turned into weeks of continuously coming back to the many layers of this inner work. It seems all of January has been focused on this time of deep reflection. It has felt completely essential to honor this inward time in order to move forward with my work in the clearest, strongest way. So much experienced in 2017, so much to contemplate about what I learned and how I transformed, so much to say.
So much to say has been a mantra I hear myself reciting to people around me constantly. 2017 was the most expansive year of my life yet, and using my voice has been at the core of every significant aspect of my journey this year. And so I honor my journey by acknowledging and giving voice to what I have experienced at the end of the 2017 cycle, enabling myself to transition into 2018 in the best possible way.
The theme I set for 2017 was Expansion, and the many many pages I’ve written about it in itself reflects my expansion! I’d love to share some brief highlights with you here, serving to inspire as well as demystify much of the work I am involved in.
