The Sound of Solstice ~ A Winter Solstice Meditation

For this meditation, you will need the following:

- A silent, calm space where you can be comfortably seated free from disruption
- The ability to have a dark room with all lights turned off, or a scarf or eye mask to cover your eyes
- An unlit candle
- A lighter or matches
- A few pieces of blank paper and something to write upon
- A writing utensil

It’s best to do this meditation when it’s dark outside, helping you to create a completely dark room. Before you begin, you’ll want to turn out any lights in your space (or cover your eyes with a mask). Make sure you have your unlit candle and lighter right in front of where you’ll be seated.
